Ingredients:
For The Marinade:
- 1 Pound Beef or Veal boneless, Make sure to select the "Philly Steak" Cut Option. You can click HERE for the beef, and HERE for the veal.
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
For The Noodles:
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 6 ounces dry Chow Mein noodles
- 1/2 cup yellow onion thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup carrots shredded or julienne
- 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers
- 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
- 1/4 cup low sodium beef broth
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Salt & Pepper, to taste
Method:
- Marinade the beef for at least 10 minutes with all the ingredients for the marinade.
- Boil the noodles according to package instructions.
- Preheat the oil in a pan over medium-high heat, and cook the beef for 3-4 minutes, or until fully cooked.
- Remove the steak and cook the vegetables until they are soft.
- Add the Beef and Noodles to the pan and mix everything together.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sugar, beef broth, cornstarch and sesame oil. Add the sauce to the pan. Bring to a simmer and cook for 1 minute. Mix everything together, and serve!
