Aminah Rizwan chicken recipe

This week, we'll be sharing the recipe for one of our favorite chicken marinades. Used countless times by our friends and family, you'll definitely love this recipe!

This recipe makes about 4 cups of the marinade, which will be enough for  6-8 chicken pieces. We recommend marinating the chicken for at least 12 hours to get a deep flavor in your BBQ.

For this recipe, you'll need:

  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic chopped
  • 6 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 3 cups apple juice

In a blender, mix the salt, pepper, paprika, cumin, cayenne pepper and olive oil. Add garlic, onions, and parsley. Mix together well with a fork. Pour the apple juice in and blend until the onions and garlic are no longer solid. 

Pour the marinade into a large plastic bag along with all of your chicken pieces. Make sure to keep your marinaded chicken in the fridge so it gets chilled!

For this recipe, use our premium chicken legs! If you don't want to or don't have the time to make this, we also have a pre-marinaded chicken tikka option for you to try, which is delicious and has a great flavor!
