Serves 5

  • 2 lbs Chicken Wings
  • 1 tbsp Salt & Pepper each
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 2 tsp Cayenne Powder
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • oil, for frying
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 2 cups barbecue sauce

  1. Pat down your wings. Make sure they are as dry as possible so they fry properly.
  2. In a large bowl, add the flour, salt, pepper, paprika, cayenne powder, and garlic powder. Coat the wings in the mixture. Make sure they are completely coated to get crispy skin. Refrigerate the wings for at least 30 minutes to let the coating set in.
  3. In a medium saucepan on high heat, add the barbecue sauce and bring to a simmer. Add in your honey and return to a simmer. Once the sauce has thickened, remove from heat.
  4. Fry your wings for 9 to 12 minutes, until fully cooked. You can fry in a deep fryer, air fryer, or a large pot filled with oil, enough to submerge the wings.
  5. Toss the wings in the sauce. Make sure they are completely coated and serve!
